  1. Hi Emily-
I've read your great book and now am getting to work on those worksheets. Is there a website one can go to download them? Just thought I would ask because electronic versions would be easier to work with and keep for yearly updating.
    Thank you. Laurie

    1. Hi Laurie,
I'm afraid we don't have a website where the worksheets can be downloaded. It's an excellent suggestion, however, and I'll pass your comment along to my publisher.
      Thanks for reading!
      Emily

    3. I came to your web site also looking for the worksheets from your excellent book. AdamsMedia really missed the boat on that one! I guess I'll just have to recreate them myself .

    5. Emily, I have read a lot of financial books over the years. Yours is, by far, the best book yet. Your easy to read descriptions of some pretty complex materials with great websites to reference is spot on. maybe you could make some recommendations here for suggested sites on the spreadsheets. I agree, that would have been a great addition. I'm giving this book to all of my pre-retirement friends.

  2. I am trying to get Dave Ramsey to realize that his 8% withdrawal rate from a retirement nest egg is wayyyy too much. I am writing a letter to him stating that you support the 4% withdrawal rate. How long have you been writing finance articles? Do you think you could get in touch with Dave Ramsey and talk to him about his position?

  3. I'm working my way through your book "Making Social Security Work for You", and had a question about the categories you included in Chapter 6 on Worksheet 6-1. I was wondering if you intentionally left out a few categories, such as Hobbies, Pets, and Federal/State/Local income taxes, long-term care plan and other insurance (Life) premiums, gym memberships, etc. I realize the Plan B may be more geared to those with financial hardships, but those hardships can come suddenly and move someone who thought they were financially secure into a less secure position.

    Thanks,

    Bob
