You may have noticed that one of my favorite blogs is Free Range Kids by Lenore Skenazy. I love how she is out there striking a blow for sane parenting in a fear-driven world. She's also wonderful about responding to emails from us fans. When I emailed her my realization that Pixar films (LO's favorite movies--after Shrek) seem to be wonderfully free range, she posted my thoughts on her blog.
Take some time to read more from Lenore--and watch a Pixar movie with your kids. It's good to see that some media is encouraging children to think and do things for themselves!
